Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located on the North Shore of Montreal, a senior computer technician.
Your missions
• Perform system administration and configuration of the various servers and tools;
• Actively participate in the deployment of the company's IT projects by
collaboration with the IT team;
• Implement solutions to ensure the protection of the company in terms of cybersecurity and data confidentiality;
• Diagnose and resolve network, software and hardware problems more
complex;
• Document internal processes and knowledge base articles
internal (KB);
• Provide support to company technicians during advanced problems
(workstation, networks, applications, telephone system, wireless equipment, printers, cell phones, etc.);
• Provide in-person support to users during branch visits by answering their questions and resolving their problems.
Your profile
• DEC. or AEC in computer science;
• 10 years of relevant experience;
• Good knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems;
• Good knowledge of Windows administration and configuration
Servers 2016-2022;
• Knowledge of Linux an asset;
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office 365 suite, it administration and configuration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Microsoft Entra, Intune etc.);
• Be familiar with network technologies and services (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Radius protocols).
• Fluent in French and English, oral and written;
• Must be able to travel to our branches (Eastern Ontario, Laval and Rive-
North)
• Demonstrate autonomy, curiosity and proactivity.
