Hello,
I'm Clémence, recruitment and business development consultant at FED IT, a recruitment agency specializing in IT professions.

I'm currently looking for a computer technician for one of my clients in downtown Montreal. The position is 100% on-site, permanent.

Your missions

Your mission:

You will be responsible for deploying and administering IT infrastructures and providing
assistance to users on problems related to office automation and enterprise software.

Your responsibilities:
- Advise IT managers on the evaluation and acquisition of hardware and software solutions
- Deploy solutions adapted to business needs
- Install and configure workstations, software and peripherals
- Carry out required interventions on the various technologies under his/her responsibility, including deployment, maintenance and problem resolution
- Maintain equipment inventory and obtain quotes for hardware acquisition
- Provide assistance with problems related to equipment, software and applications, and document interactions in the ticketing system
- Ensure the updating of components (hardware and software) under his/her responsibility
- Perform all other related tasks

Your profile

Your qualifications:

- College diploma in computer technology, or equivalent
- At least three years' experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of IT office automation (telephony, workstations, software, etc.)

- Functional knowledge of IT security best practices
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 10, Windows Server and Office 365 systems
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English (Toronto branch to be serviced)
