Your missions
I'm looking for an IT support technician for one of our customers in Longueuil. This is a mostly on-site position. Salary varies according to experience ($50,000 to $60,000).
Your duties will include :
• Provide level 1 and 2 support to users on service incidents (IT, printing and end-user connectivity).
• Provide on-site or remote assistance (sometimes on evening and weekend rotation)
• Perform technical interventions, analyze causes and provide escalation services for all workstations and network connectivity
• Configure, install and prepare laptops, desktops and other peripherals.
• Create and document procedures for users
• Repair or change computer components on PCs or laptops
Your profile
• Degree in computer science or equivalent
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar position
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 environments and the Office suite
• Knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk, Catia, Altair), an asset
• Basic knowledge and experience of networking tools: LAN, WAN, VPN and wireless
• Knowledge of Active Directory administration techniques (user creation/deletion, profiles, connection scripts)
