Your missions
I'm looking for a systems administrator for one of our customers, located in Saint-Jean sur Richelieu. This is a replacement position (one-year contract – 35h), hybrid. Salary varies according to experience ($70,000 to $80,000).
Your duties will include :
• Maintain a complete hardware and software inventory
• Ensure installation, configuration, maintenance and proper operation of computer equipment
• Provide level 3 support - (monitor electronic surveillance system (monitoring), analysis tools, configuration and networks)
• Make recommendations to improve system architecture, performance and security, based on industry best practices.
• Implement, document and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability
• Develop, implement and test disaster recovery plans.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls and virtual private networks
• Monitor system performance, security events and capacity planning parameters
Your profile
• AEC in networking or related field
• 3 years' experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of CISCO equipment, Windows 2008-2012 servers, Microsoft Exchange 2010 and their evolutions
• Knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory and GPOs
• Knowledge of network infrastructures and configuration, firewalls and switches
• Familiarity with the VMware environment
• Mastery of the steps involved in diagnosing and repairing IT equipment
• Knowledge of Fortinet firewalls
• Intermediate level of English
• Knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of VEEAM backup
