Your missions
I'm looking for a Linux System Administrator for one of my clients in downtown Montreal.
This is a permanent position, in hybrid mode (3 days a week on site and 2 days telecommuting).
Your duties will include:
- Evaluate and analyze business requirements, technology environment and technology choices to determine alternative solutions to meet business needs.
- Participate in projects to improve and deploy new technologies.
- Ensure the evolution of platforms and the updating of environments.
- Monitor emerging infrastructure technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems
- Create and maintain documentation
- Create and modify scripts
- 24/7 support (2 weeks out of 6)
Your profile
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a systems administrator
- Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization
- CentOS (2-3 years minimum)
- Windows administration (2 years)
- Knowledge of Web, servers and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Knowledge of server administration (Linux; Windows Server, SQL Server);
- High attention to detail
- Analytical mind
- Bilingual spoken and written
