Your missions
I am currently looking for a big data developer for one of our customers. This is a permanent, remote. Salary varies according to experience ($110,000 to $130,000).
Your missions:
The Data Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining the incoming and outgoing data flows of the "lake house" data lake.
Take responsibility for the development of software components and mobility solutions for the metropolitan area, based on your expertise.
As a developer, write clear, functional, fast, robust, and tested code.
Collaborate with the solution architect and functional analyst to design and implement robust and high-performing data flows.
Encourage the adoption of best development practices within the team.
Promote the use of modern big data technologies.
Favor code-based approaches over low-code or no-code approaches.
Act as a consultant in your field and serve as a reference and coach for the management and emerging team members.
In an Agile framework, actively contribute as a member of the development team by proposing any form of positive improvement.
Be able to establish and recommend secure, reliable, and high-performing IT solutions that meet business needs.
Ensure the quality of data pipelines and validate the architectural alignment of proposed solutions.
Participate, as needed, in diagnosing and resolving complex operational problems.
Actively participate and lead solution experiments, as well as deploy cloud environments necessary for system delivery.
Your profile
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Engineering.
Cloud certification is an asset (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Have experience as a developer, integrator, and solution operator, contributing to the feasibility, design, implementation, and delivery phases of commercial solutions.
Possess excellent analytical and synthesis skills, as well as the ability to make recommendations.
Demonstrate versatility and autonomy in daily tasks execution.
Exercise motivating leadership with stakeholders from various industries and within multidisciplinary teams.
Have good listening skills and a deep understanding of business issues.
Master the French language both orally and in writing.
