I'm currently looking for a BI Business Analyst for my client in the east end of Montreal. This is a permanent position, in hybrid mode.

Under the supervision of the IT Vice-President, the BI Analyst's role is to carry out advanced statistical analyses to model and simplify complex data, and to provide decision-support tools to support business processes. Using his/her expertise in data mining and modeling, the incumbent will produce effective and innovative analyses, dashboards and insights to support the company's business processes and strategic decisions.

More specifically, the BI- QLIK Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for :

- Work closely with business analysts and managers to create dashboards and decision-support reports using Clic ;
- Design, analyze and develop scalable BI solutions;
- Act as a primary resource for on-site and off-site users and answer technical questions about the BI tool;
- Integrate analysis requirements with ERP or BI functions;
- Propose and develop effective business intelligence solutions;
- Support external consultants and teams in charge of implementing new planning/analysis tools (Produce pro-CEFRIO-CRIM);
- Train and pass on knowledge to users of the tools developed;
- Document analyses (dashboards and reports) and ensure a uniform lexicon;
- Participate in acceptance testing;
- Design and implement enterprise-wide data analysis and reporting solutions;
- Review and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources;
- Communicate analysis results and make recommendations to senior management;
- Develop data cleansing rules for the company;
- Perform all other related tasks.

Your profile

- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience as a business intelligence analyst;
- Bachelor's degree in administration, business computing or business intelligence;
- Bilingualism required (spoken and written);
- Knowledge of database management, data warehousing and external data integration;
- Comprehensive knowledge of business processes and applications, ERP and BI systems;
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles;
- Understanding of data and process modeling;
- Proficiency in Windows environment, Microsoft office tools and ERP and BI systems architecture;
- Experience with QLIK, SQL and database tools;
- Experience with IBM Cognos (asset);
- Knowledge of predictive analytics concepts and ETL development experience (assets).
