Your missions

We are looking for an IT Technicien for one of our customers located West Shore... This is a permanent position.

Your tasks :

Identifying and resolving issues related to operating systems, office applications, peripherals, and computer equipment.
Providing Level 2 technical support by addressing user inquiries through phone, email, or in person and resolving software, hardware, and network-related technical problems.
Installing and configuring network equipment, servers, and software.
Organizing and conducting workshops and training sessions on the use of new software and devices.
Participating in preventive maintenance of systems, including software updates, security patches, and hardware upgrades.
Proactively monitoring systems to detect potential issues and implementing corrective measures before they impact operations.
Drafting and updating various documents, diagrams, and procedures.
Participating in the planning and implementation of technical projects, such as deploying new software, setting up new hardware configurations, and implementing security solutions.
Collaborating with the network administration team to maintain and enhance the network infrastructure, including firewall configuration, security, and the management of firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and ACLs.
Assisting and supporting the maintenance team at the toll center in resolving complex issues.
Adhering to best practices in computer security and actively contributing to the protection of company data.

Your profile

Degree in computer science or a related field.
5 years of practical experience as a level 1 or level 2 IT technician.
Strong troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of operating systems, software, and networks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 & 11, Office 365, TeamViewer, VNC, SQL Express, and Helpdesk.
Ability or interest in working with Active Directory, Scripting, Genetec, and VPN software.
Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Capability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize requests based on urgency.
