We are currently looking for a Java developer for one of our clients located in the east of the island.
Your missions
• Clarify, document, design, and implement in Java/JSP/JS new functionalities to meet sales and production demands (back end and front end);
• Fix bugs, ensure the stability and reliability of Daphne
• Level 2 production support
• In collaboration with the Production Manager and Systems Specialist, improve workflow to reduce errors, and increase productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Modernize the tracking available to customers for their products
• Work as a team with the Test department to complete the deployment of new features up to production;
• Increase connectivity with Sales Force (customer relationship management software) to centralize business information in one place.
Your profile
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent;
• 10 years of corporate experience in the development of complex web applications.
• Excellent knowledge of Java, JSP, JS, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
• Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Resin (or Tomcat or other J2EE technology)
• Basic web GUI design
• Advantage: experience working with images
• Advantage: experience with e-commerce (card management of credit card info, electronic payment, …)
• Advantage: knowledge of web security and encryption
• Advantage: knowledge of Linux systems administration
• Advantage: experience with unit testing methodology (TDD) and test automation for web applications.
