Your missions
We are looking for an Infrastructure Coordinator for one of our customers located in Montreal south shore. This is a permanent remote position.
Your tasks :
- Supervise, support, mobilize, retain, and lead the work of a team of network and system administrators. (A team of 5)
- Monitor and maintain the network and infrastructure equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, telecommunications, cables, wireless networks, security cameras, inverters, scanners, production scales, printers, server rooms, and data centers to ensure optimal and continuous functioning of the network and systems.
- Monitor and maintain the cloud infrastructure based on Azure services.
- Supervise the installation, configuration, provisioning, and updating of servers and network equipment to ensure network performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement an effective schedule and process for patch management.
- Ensure that all hardware systems supporting the IT infrastructure are properly inventoried, maintained, and updated.
- Carry out decommissioning of servers and equipment as needed.
- Ensure that all applications have access to necessary and optimal disk storage, IT resources, backup, and archiving.
Implement and maintain data backup and recovery plans.
- Collaborate with other IT departments and provide support.
- Participate in setting priorities for the work order backlog, planning for priority projects, and contributing to the annual budget.
- Manage and keep up-to-date procedures and documentation related to IT operations.
Your profile
- University degree in the field of IT infrastructure and operations.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in IT operations, including 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding and experience in managing a large-scale M365 environment.
- Technical understanding and exposure to a wide range of technologies, including servers (Cloud, virtualization...), networks, Active Directory, SSO authentication, device management, and password management.
- Bilingual in written and oral communication. (French/English)
