Your missions

We are looking for an analyst-programmer for one of our clients. This is a permanent position, salary between $75,000 and $90,000 depending on experience. Frequent travel to Sherbrooke is expected (expenses paid by the company). Your other tasks :

- Actively participate in a major project to implement an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to coordinate plant operations
- Work closely with a team of Siemens OPcenter solution experts, IT architects, business analysts and programmer-analysts for the implementation
- Learn, understand and analyze the plant's operational processes to properly define the business needs of the various stakeholders related to production, assembly and quality system activities
- Design, program and configure front end and user interface (UI/UX) functionalities, in direct link with the users of the solution
- Process, centralize and make available information and operational data to the various workstations
- Collaborate with your team and be creative in order to provide pragmatic solutions to problems and facilitate the work of users
- Ensure the quality of work and execute tests and proofs of concept to validate the proper functioning and ensure that the requirements are met
- Act as a resource person and provide technical support to users during implementation and commissioning

Your profile

- You have a BAC or a technical degree in computer engineering, computer science, software or equivalent
- You have at least 3 years of experience as an analyst programmer
- You master object-oriented programming languages (C#, C++, JavaScript)
- You have knowledge of low-code flow programming tools (Mendix, Node-red, etc.)
- You have knowledge of user interface design
- You have a strong interest in the smart factory (4.0)
- You have experience in the implementation of management systems (e.g. ERP, MES, MOM, etc.)
- You have experience with relational databases (MS SQL)
- You are bilingual (French, English), both written and spoken.
