Your missions
We are looking for an IT Analyst for one of our clients located on the south shore of Montreal. This is a permanent hybrid position.
Your missions:
- Monitor daily computer operations to ensure the proper functioning, updating, and integrity of the computer and network infrastructure.
- Perform data backups using the BaaS (Backup as a Service) solution.
- Review the event logs of equipment and applications.
- Write and maintain computer documentation and inventory.
- Administer Office 365, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and manage policy deployment through Microsoft Intune.
- Handle computer outages and issues.
- Ensure the security of equipment and telecommunications links by installing and updating security patches, producing security analyses, and responding to intrusion attempts.
- Maintain continuous monitoring of computer resources and manage security and compliance through Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Contribute to the evolution of the company's computer environment by participating in recommendations for new equipment and software, collaborating on their installation and configuration, making update recommendations, and keeping operational information up to date.
- Maintain communication with external suppliers during software implementation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to conduct functional analyses and estimations for new projects.
- Document implemented solutions and create procedure manuals.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to developed applications and solutions.
- Participate in the improvement of the development, integration, and production environment.
- Perform performance tests on applications before their production release.
- Provide front-line support to users as needed and based on team availability.
- Contribute to other projects related to the organization's priorities and objectives.
Your profile
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud environments.
- Expertise in HP and Cisco network infrastructures.
- Proficiency in virtualized environments, including VMWare and Microsoft.
- Competence in managing Windows servers, Active Directory 2008 and Azure Active Directory, Exchange 2013 and Online, SQL servers, and SharePoint Online.
- Familiarity with Windows 10 operating systems and the Office 365 suite.
- Understanding of WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, VPN technologies.
- Knowledge of IT security principles.
- Experience with IP-based phone systems (VOIP-Teams).
- Familiarity with best practices in IT management (ITIL certification is a plus).
- Mastery of endpoint administration tools, such as Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with development and automation tools like PowerApps, Power Automate, etc. (an advantage).
- Understanding of data security.
