Hello,
I'm Clémence, recruitment and business development consultant at FED IT, a recruitment agency specializing in IT professions.

I'm currently looking for a Systems Administrator in hybrid mode for one of our customers located on the west side of Montreal.

Your missions

Your missions will be as follows:
- Monitor emerging infrastructure technologies.
- Implement, document, and maintain configuration baselines for hardware, firmware, applications, and other system components.
Evaluate and analyze business requirements, technology environment, and technology choices to determine alternative solutions to meet business needs.
- Make recommendations to improve system architecture, performance, and security based on industry best practices.
- Carry out and document backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery plans.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and virtual private networks.
- Monitor system performance, security events, and capacity planning parameters.

Your profile

- Diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree (BAC) in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Solid knowledge of best practices in systems administration, configuration management, and change management.
- Experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure and services.
- Experience in implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with system performance and security monitoring tools and techniques.
- Solid knowledge of hardware, software, firmware, and network technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
