The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for all aspects of
network administration including servers, desktop computers, components
and communications software and office systems. This position plans,
develops, installs, diagnoses, maintains and supports an operating system and
hardware, servers, software and databases associated with it to ensure
optimal integrity of security, backups and system performance
Your missions
RESPONSIBILITIES
Help desk management
• Respond to all problems and malfunctions, providing advice and
assistance as needed;
• Oversee the maintenance of a range of equipment ranging from workstations to
servers and networks.
Network Administration

• Work with software and hardware vendors to resolve issues

Database Administration

• Research, price and recommend technology purchases for

• Manage relationships with external companies for services, support and
questions regarding products, including contractors, developers and
other suppliers;

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
• University degree in computer science and/or related field
related or equivalent work experience);
• 5-7 years of experience in support, implementation and/or administration
Knowledge & Qualifications
• Familiarity with web tools and technology; understand the problems of
network; ideally have relevant server experience;
• In-depth practical and technical knowledge of systems-
networks, protocols and standards such as: Ethernet, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VoIP,
Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 routing, etc.;
• Ability to work closely with IT project managers,
database programmers and web developers;
• Skills in project management and effective management of resources in
the execution of several projects;
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues and errors.
